ETMC Medical Director of Trauma Services Dr. Scott Norwood recently received the MADDÂ "2008 Difference Maker Award" from Chris Johnson with the East Texas MADD chapter and Laura Dean-Moody, national President of MADD during the kick-off of the "Tie One on for Safety" event. The annual holiday awareness campaign asks the public to not drink and drive during the holiday season and to tie a red ribbon to their vehicle as a pledge to stay safe and sober while driving.
